🙏🏼 Intensifying support to earthquake–hit Myanmar, WHO has provided nearly 100 tons of medicines, medical devices and tents, and is assisting in coordination and deployment of emergency medical teams on the ground to meet the growing and evolving health needs. 

⚠️ Since the earthquake struck on 28 March, more than 3,000 people have lost their lives, many more are injured and nearly 12.9 million need humanitarian health assistance.

🔹 Heightened risk of infectious diseases

🔹 Widespread psychological trauma

🔹 High levels of stress and anxiety

🔹 No access to shelter

🔹 Access to clean water is limited

🔹 Limited capacity of existing health facilities
